Mr. Dag Rømmen set up the first Norwegian law firm in Singapore in 1996 and managed Evensen & Co and later the Wikborg, Rein & Co offices in town until early 2005.
Today Rommen Pte Ltd is the company through which Mr. Rømmen and his small team of associates provides their services. Through Rommen Pte Ltd, Mr. Rømmen shares his experience with friends and clients through directorships, corporate management and ad-hoc consultancy services and as an arbitrator.
Mr. Dag Rømmen is a qualified Norwegian lawyer with post graduate education in arbitration law from National University of Singapore. He is also a master mariner. After a career at sea, Mr. Rømmen from 1982 worked in technical and commercial ship management and ship brokering in Oslo. From 1992 until 2005 he practiced as a maritime lawyer.
